I have a business administration degree from California State University, Long Beach. While there I worked on applying and developing math to finance and complex financial derivatives that are used in economics. I'm currently obtaining teaching credentials in Fundamental Math from California State University, Sacramento. My background includes coaching, substitute teaching, teaching, and tutoring. My experience is in arithmetic, conversions, homework help, test preparation, elementary school math, and advanced English. However, those subjects I like to tutor students the most in are writing and verbal skills, essay editing, advanced mathematics, and science. Other subjects I am available for tutoring in include algebra, geometry, trigonometry, accounting, and economics.I am enthusiastic when I am tutoring and use different teaching styles to improve the students' overall understanding. I'm able to help you if you find that you're not understand the way your teachers are explaining different concepts. Often, our understanding is improved when a subject or lesson is explained differently. For me, the tutoring relationship should not be stressful for students. When I'm not studying or tutoring I like to cook, climb, hike, swim, write screenplays and poetry, and play all types of games. I also like to watch television and movies when I have some downtime.
