I have taught and tutored extensively for undergraduate level biology, ecology, plant science, and anatomy/physiology labs. I have taught over 12 semesters of undergraduate biology classes both at the introductory level and advanced levels. I specialize in teacher training in science and therefore apply all the latest research in education so that my students learn and understand the material to the best of their ability. I received my MD at the age of 20, but decided to go into research instead of clinical practice. I started working on research in pharmaceutical development, which led me down the path of plant secondary metabolites and then plant defense.
